What is our Oppor3nity this week? LHC has added PCI P2PE Assessor to our quiver of capabilities in addition to already providing QSA services in most regions of the world (soon to be global, and when the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) is ready, intergalactic!), PCI PIN, and PCI 3DS. For those of you outside of the payments world, PCI Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) is a security standard that encrypts credit card data at the point of interaction until it reaches a secure decryption environment, meaning that entities that use this technology lower the risk of exposing your payment cards.
Welcoming Heath Taylor to Lead Healthcare Cybersecurity Practice
It’s been a few weeks since we’ve shared any opportunities, but not because it’s slow — in fact the practice is up to about 20 full time folks in just six months time! We are excited to have Heath Taylor (we built a relationship when he was a client in the past) join LHC Advisors to lead and grow our Healthcare Cybersecurity Practice.
Heath has led and advised cybersecurity programs across a wide range of industries. This includes healthcare, entertainment, financial services, education, and other highly regulated environments. Those experiences have given him a broad perspective on how organizations approach cyber risk, governance, incident response, security strategy, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
Heath has worked with organizations at different stages of cybersecurity maturity, from building and transforming security programs to helping executive teams navigate complex risk, compliance, operational, and technology challenges.
